TAITA
Our Master Shaman Taita Yoani is from the indigenous Awá community in the Colombian jungle. He has been schooled in the ways of the medicine since childhood by his grandfather, another incredible healer who passed away a few years ago aged 102.
We have worked with many Taita´s over the years and can tell you that Taita Yoani is one of the most powerful shamans in Colombia. Not only does he possess a huge amount of power and wisdom when it comes to the Ayahuasca he is one of the most upright people you will ever meet.
We have been blessed to have Taita working with us for the past 5 years and having him presiding over the ceremonies has enabled us to develop a phenomenal reputation worldwide.
CLAIRE
Claire started Yagéwaska 6 years ago to bring the incredible healing power of the medicine to people worldwide. In addition to Yagéwaska, she also owns a successful coaching business where she teaches coaches how to profoundly transform their clients' lives.
As an ex-psychology lecturer she possesses the academic knowledge to enable people to transform their lives and holds a Masters Level equivalent in Somatic and Trauma Informed Coaching.
Her true wisdom however, comes from her own transformation. For many many years she suffered from alcohol and drug addictions and anxiety and depression. After suffering from a nervous breakdown and drug induced psychosis she made the decision to transform her life and has never looked back. Due to her experiences she knows with 100% conviction that transformation is possible for all.
FREIDEL
Freidel is a Colombian Yagécero and Taita´s right-hand man. Before he found the medicine he was lost in a world of drugs and gangs until the medicine saved him and he subsequently devoted his life to the medicine and supporting others in their healing process.
Don't be deceived by his age, he has been on this path now for 6 years and has the mental, physical and emotional strength of someone twice his age as well as the wisdom to boot.
He is one of the main musicians in the ceremonies and his guitar playing and singing will take you on the most beautiful of journeys.
MATT
Matt has been working with us for 5 years in total and became a fully fledged team member over a year ago. He has been through his own profound transformation thanks to Ayahuasca.
His first retreat was so life-changing that he flew back for a second retreat a few weeks later and since then he turned his back on drugs and alcohol and set himself on the spiritual path.
As well as being an accredited Breathwork practitioner he has spent much time in Colombia drinking with various communities and learning the ways of the medicine.
EMMA
Emma first came to us and the medicine 5 years ago and like Matt has become one of our key team members. The medicine gave her profound levels of healing and subsequently enabled her to transform her life in all aspects. She holds a Masters in community leadership and leads our community hub in Dublin in addition to supporting us in launching our hubs in Glasgow, London and Dublin.
As a trained sound healer and Breathwork practitioner she uses these modalities to support others in the healing process.
MARIA
Maria’s healing journey began with a disease that opened her awareness to alternative methods of healing. As she walked the path of self-discovery, she became certified as a Yoga Instructor in Ashtanga Series, Tetra Breathwork Facilitator, Akashic Records Therapist, Light Language and Energetic Recalibration Channeler.
She has been blessed with wise and wonderful teachers from indigenous shamanic traditions from Colombia, as well as learning the ways of the Red Road in Mexico.
These teachings show her how to listen to and learn from the medicine of the Elements and Earth Medicine.
Her beloved teacher Ayahuasca has shown her the profound healing that comes through unity, love, and self-discovery with a loving yet firm presence.
